When CT-STE is not in use energy is produced by the solar panels during the day or by induction-charging at night. While running the battery-banks are kept charged by the bio-fuel turbine generators located at each end of the railcar. And, during deceleration, the drive-motors become regenerators. The battery-banks are located under the floor for added stability & access
